Met Mercedes F1 Driver, Nico Rosberg @ KLCC Suria

I was visited Korea Plaza last weekend to collect my prizes that I won from the previous activities, free transportation card by Lotte World. Have to wait until my next visit to Korea only will able to know how am I supposed to use this.

On my way back to KLCC, there was a building that full with crowds. Got 7 are here in Malaysia for their fans meet!!! I’m not really know much about Got 7 but they are a successful KPOP group with lot of fans even though just debut for a short time. With all the young fans waiting there, I decided not to wait and continue my way to KLCC.

Miss the chance to see Got 7 but I met this young and smart looking Formula 1 driver, Nico Rosberg! There was the Petronas Syntium 7000 Launch happened in KLCC Suria with the attendance of Petronas Representative and media.

There is a F1 race car at the concourse area for public to take photo. This is pretty cool!

Kangsane Korean Restaurant @ Ampang

Went to Ampang again to try on the Korean Restaurant there. Thought to go there earlier to have a look on what they have there but sadly most of the shops were close. That area is quite quiet and empty on weekend (except dinner time, of course).

We decided to try in this restaurant named "Kangsane" as it have more customers dining in when we was there at 5pm. Of course can’t go into some empty shop! Haha… I like the layout of the restaurant as most of the tables are in cubicle. Customers can have more privacy while enjoying their meal there.

We decided not go for BBQ but to try their ala carte meal, BiBimBap and Tteok Ramen. Soon, they served the food and continue with total of 9 banchans. I dint expect for banchans as we are ordering ala carte meal. For drink, we decided to go for waters. (It is free! We only found out when we pay the bill.)

The BiBimBap was really in big portion with lots of rice in it. Hardly to finish that especially with all the banchans served on the table. Tteok Ramen was good as I hardly find a non-spicy ramen. I can’t really take spicy so that why I always take those not spicy one.

Maybe I should come back again to try for their BBQ. The reason why I was not going for BBQ is because normally Korean restaurant will need to order at least 2 meats. 2 persons will hardly able to finish 2 meats plus lot of banchans that they served. =

“Lucky Star 2015” Fans Meet @ Paradigm Mall

The stars, Eric Tsang, Wong Cho-Lam, S.H.E’s Ella, Wen Chao were invited to Malaysia to promote their new movie, Lucky Star 2015. This movie will be released in cinemas on 19th February 2015 in conjunction with Chinese New Year.

Out of several locations in Klang Valley, we decided to go for Paradigm Mall as it’s have less crowd compare to the others. As always, we choose to stand at first floor to have a better view instead of a closer distance in ground floor.

With the appearance of 2 lion dance, Eric Tsang and Wong Cho-Lam turned up at 8.10pm, which is quite unexpected for me. According to them, Wen Chao and Ella who are supposed to be here together with them are not able to join due to VISA problem.

Eric and Cho-Lam spent about 10 minutes to greet the audiences and talked about the movie. Then they play a simple game with 4 selected fans on the stage. The whole event was only about 30 minutes from greeting by emcee with the audience till dismiss of the event.

This is my first experience watching this kind of flash event. Short and fast!!! Now I understand why they able to run for few different locations in such a short period.

San Nae Deul @ Nexus Bangsar South

First time visited to this place name Nexus, which located at Bangsar South as my sister was
invited to attend an art auction. Me and my younger sister spent time walking around Nexus
and we found this, San Nae Deul.

They were having a special promotion so here we went for our lunch. =) After consulted
the staff, RM25 for lunch is only for those food that pre-cooked by chef. If want to have
the BBQ session, we have to top up another RM10 per person.
Since is first time, let’s try BBQ. =P

Once we walked in, there are a bar serving all the meats for BBQ. Behind that bar, there is a
salad bar which served all the pre-cooked foods. There dining area is separated into 3 types,
which are open space, cubicle or room.

The variety of pre-cooked food is a lot. All the meats are ready in different methods and there
are a lot of side dishes, which included rice rolls, tteokbokki, Kimchi pancake, seaweed,
Korean dumpling and others. They also served spaghetti and Korean fried rice.

In term of BBQ, there are different types of marinated meats as well as non-marinated meats.

We also have ice-cream as our dessert after the BBQ lunch. They have their ice-cream
machine near to the meat bar, with a jar of the canned mix fruit at side to use as topping for
the ice-cream.

Fuying & Sam 2°C Live in Malaysia Concert + celebration party @ Neway Times Square

Wasn’t plan for this until my elder sis texted me and said that her friend have extra ticket
for Fuying & Sam 2°C Live in Malaysia Concert. To make sure that we would waste that
ticket, so I went for it. Hehe…

We were a bit late due to the traffic but luckily the show hasn’t start when we arrived. The
concert started with the appearance of Fuying & Sam while singing their song.

Fuying & Sam had also invited Alvin and Eric as their guest for the concert. Together they
performed the OST for the movie that they are participated in, “My Dream”. In the concert,
they performed songs of different languages to the fans.

They were so surprised and touched when the fans hold the paper that print “可以” (Can) when
they sing their “可不可以你也刚好喜欢我” (Can you be in love with me too?).

The concert end about 10.45pm but the night is still young. Due to my sister’s friend is
the employee of one of the sponsor, she will need to go for the celebration party in
Neway Times Square.

Of course we are not allowed to enter their party room, so we have our
sing K session there another room. However, we are lucky that able met both of them at
corridor with super short distance for few times and able to get signature from them. =D

Jipangi (지팡이) @ Sunway Pyramid

Had been so lazy for the past month and now I am back! (2015 01 11)

As I am a Korea Lover (addicted to everything from Korea after I came back from there), today I found something new that come from Korea. My sister called it as “Ice Cream J” due to the shape, but the actual name is “Jipangi” (지팡이).

It is actually Ice Cream in the J-consonant corn cone. There are 2 flavours of the ice cream which are creamy vanilla and premium chocolate. The vanilla taste is quite normal but the chocolate flavour is a bit bitter as it is more toward the strong dark chocolate taste.

You can order it separately or 2 flavours in 1 cone as per what I ordered.

3 choices available for you:
Creamy Vanilla @ RM7
Premium Chocolate @ RM7
Mixed Flavours @ RM9

On that day, we were lucky that “Jipangi” was having their new flavour testing which is
mango flavour. The mango flavour is more toward yogurt ice cream in mango flavour which
taste sweet and sour.

Where to find “Jipangi”?

Little Korea @ Ampang

Had been heard about this Little Korea in Ampang for quite some time and finally I make my
trip to visit there. It was an unplanned trip and I just try my luck to reach there. The Little Korea located opposite of Ampang Point Shopping Complex. There are many buses from KLCC or
Ampang Park LRT station that will stop at this Ampang Point Shopping Complex.

The area was quite dark as I reached there almost 8pm and most of the shops were closed. Due
to the visit of Korean Navy team to Malaysia, there was a welcoming event at there for the
Korean Expat in Malaysia.

There are a few grocery marts that selling Korea products at Little Korea. However, there were
only 2 marts operated at that time. After visit both of them, I found that items in “필 마트” are
selling at the lower price.

There are a lot of Korean restaurants. I decided to go for dinner at HanWoori which is more
crowded compare to the others. As I was alone, I decided to join another Korean customer
who was also alone for dinner.

I had ordered a simple Spicy Fried Pork. There are about 6 types of “Ban Chan” and they
also serve watermelon as dessert after the meal. Different from other Korean restaurant, they
only serve plain water for free instead of green tea. However, you can still order green tea
or some other drinks if you want.

Uncle Chong that i met in HanWoori
Here are the products that i purchased from the mart. First one is my favourite drink that i always have when i was study in Korea. The second is a soft jelly in peach flavour.

 How to reach there?

Take bus from KLCC or Ampang Lrt Station to Ampang Point Shopping Mall.
Cross the pedestrian flyover to the opposite
