Caffé Bene @ Jaya Mall , Petaling Jaya

Hurray!!! Finally I had able to try in the food and drinks in Caffé Bene. After the opening of
the first Caffé Bene in Sunway Pyramid, I was always interested to try their Bingsu. However, it
was always full house and I have no chance to try even though after few months. Luckily there
is a new branch in Jaya Mall, Petaling Jaya.

Bingsu is my favourite dessert when I was in Korea. There are 5 variants of Bingsu served
in Caffé Bene – Pat (original flavour), Coffee, Green Tea, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry.
However, the Strawberry flavour is still not available when I visited the branch in Jaya Mall.

I had tried their Green Tea Bingsu (Double), Cookies and Cream Bingsu (Single) and
Caramel Cinnamon Bread.

There are 2 sizes for Bingsu, “Single” for smaller portion or “Double” for bigger portion.
Their “Single” is enough to be shared for two person.

Green Tea Bingsu (Double)
Cookies & Cream Bingsu (Single)
Normally people will come for coffee or Bingsu, however the bread is quite nice as well. The Caramel Cinnamon Bread that I tried is crunchy at the outer layer and soft in the inner part.

Pasar Besar Seremban @ Seremban

Started my day in Seremban with dropped by at their local wet market to hunt for breakfast. The scale of the wet market is quite big compare to those I visited before. The raw food ingredients are mostly sold at the ground floor while the second floor is full with stalls that serve mouthwatering foods.

There is a well-known beef noodles at the stall number 748. There are soup and dry beef noodles for the customers to choose from.

The taste of soup beef noodle is mild while the taste of dry beef noodles is much stronger. I prefer the dry beef noodle than the soup.

Due to huge crowd, I had waited 45 minutes for my beef noodles to be served. While waiting, I had tried Mee Hoon Sotong (Cuttlefish Vernicelli) at the stall number 753.

The mee hoon served with savory gravy and topped with sliced of pork, cuttlefish and some vegetables.

Walked out from the wet market, there was a stall selling Cendol by an Indian couple. What attracted me the most is the traditional ice shaver.

The ice was fine and the combination of coconut milk and Gula Melaka (palm sugar) is nectarous.

Yee Kee Beef Noodles @ Seremban

I had just come back from Seremban, a small city with located about 1 hour journey from Kuala Lumpur. The first stop I went was the Yee Kee Beef Noodles in the town.

Yee Kee Beef Noodles have the history of more than 70 years in Seremban and it is now into the 3rd generation. You might think that it should be an old restaurant by the roadside. However, it had evolved into a modern design restaurant.

Yee Kee Beef Noodles is famous with their beef noodles. They have dry beef noodles and soup beef noodles. You may order according to the variants.

The noodles are laksa kind of noodles instead of normal yellow noodles that I normally have.
The taste of soup is quite light and fresh.
For those who like heavy taste can try the dry beef noodles which are good as well.

The meat balls that they served are really good and worth to try.

Even though it is a Chinese-owned restaurant, Yee Kee Beef Noodles was awarded Halal Certification. Therefore, muslims can have a try with their beef noodles as well.
