Bamboo House Korean BBQ @ Sunway Mentari

As a meat lover and a fan of Korean food, I love Samgyeopsal very much.
Found from FB, I decided to give a try for samgyeopsal in Sunway Mentari named
Bamboo House Korean BBQ.

Yes, you are right!
All you can eat with refilled unlimitedly with only Rm27 for lunch and Rm29 for dinner.
I like the interior very much where it have the local Korea feel.

Once seated, the staff will start to serve with the side dishes and pancake. Kimchi is the soul
of a Korean restaurant and yes, I do enjoyed their Kimchi very much. After the charcoal
and stove ready, the staff will serve with the meat. There are pork shoulder and pork belly
that customers can choose from.

They also served soup, not only one but 2 type of soup, Kimchi soup and Soy Paste soup. The soup is really good to eat together with rice. Rice can be add on with Rm3 by request.

The customer can continuously ask for the refill for all the meat and side dishes. Even the
pancake are allowed to refill. There is a note on the wall to remind the customers not to over
refill to avoid wastage.

Is this look good and attempting?

I was there at 7pm when I can have my seat straight away but when i was about to leave at 8.30pm, there was a long queue waiting for the seat.

If doesn't wish to wait, do remember to be there slightly earlier.

Flavoured Hagfish(eel) 양념꼼장어 @ Haeundae Market

Went to Haeundae beach, one of the famous beach especially during summer. Took Subway Line 1, to Haeundae station exit No.5, the beach is just about 10 minutes walk away.

The view of Haeundae beach was not clear as it was drizzly with strong wind that day. I was freezing as the temperature only at 18c with strong wind.

With that, we decided to go Haeundae Traditional Market for our early dinner.

There were lots of restaurants and food stalls on the both side of the alley. Most of them are
selling seafood as seafood are famous in Busan. After go and forth, we decided to go in one
of the restaurants that selling hagfish.

There are 2 methods of cooking the hagfish, hot spicy pepper or salted. We decided to go for hot spicy pepper just in case we can't accept the taste of hagfish. Strong flavoured will always help in this kind of situation. The ahjumma served us with the side dishes once we place the order. The newly killed hagfish was still moving when it served.

This is the medium portion for 2 to 3 people and we did order fried rice as well.

Hagfish is ready to eat
The nice ahjumma even showed us on how we suppose to eat in the local way. Wrap the meat
with side dishes and vegetables then it can be eaten. The hagfish are very chewy and taste
good with the sauce.

The ahjumma bring plain rice and some other ingredients to us when we ate half of the meal.
She added in the rice, seaweed and some cheese then fried together with the hagfish. The fried rice is awesome with the cheese with it.

This is the restaurant I went. The friendly ahjumma was even posed when I take photo.

Uncommon menu with price on the wall.

Yee Fung Laksa @ Gaya Street

Gaya Street, a place that well-known for the Sunday Market, is definitely have more than that.
Kedai Kopi Yee Fung, a famous place for both locals and tourists with their beef noodle and laksa.

The owner had displayed all the menu on the board by the wall. It is easy for the customers to choose and to order the food. The top choice of all is always the number 1 and 2.

Yee Fung is packed with customers especially Sunday. Most of them having the same thought with me whereby have breakfast here before explore the Gaya Street Sunday Market.

These are the laksa and the beef noodles. Almost all the tables are served with both of these.

Yee Fung did served lot of refreshing juice like this, lime lemon juice. The milk tea (or also known as Teh Tarik) is very famous among the tourist as it is part of the must-try in Malaysia.

Yu Kee Bah Kut Teh, 佑记肉骨茶

I had missed out another sunset in KK due to the rainy day. With such a freeze and chill weather,
I decided to have some warm food to warm up my body, Bah Kut Teh.

Yu Kee Bah Kut Teh is one of the famous bah kut teh restaurant in KK which highly recommend
by the others. It is a must try as even the local says this is good. They start selling from 4pm. I was there around 5.30pm and surprisingly it was already full with customers.

There is a big menu hanging on the wall for the customers. Once seated, the boss will come and
take order while referring to the menu on the wall.

After the utensil was served, foods were on their way too.

This is what I ordered for myself. A bit too much as 1 person is a bit tough when ordering.

Traditional way of having Bah Kut Teh must come together with a pot of chinese tea.

Below is the price of the food that hanging on the wall for customers. Total spending for today's meal is RM16.50 for the whole set I have.

This is how the whole meal should be!
I can't order much so have to take the photo from someone that shared the table with me.

Breakfast in KK~~Omma's Oven

Started my first Sunday in KK with a "Big Breakfast" in Omma's Oven in Lintas Plaza, KK.

Just 1 week here but I found that people in KK love bread a lot. You can easily find
bakery or coffee shop selling buns and breads in KK. In Lintas Plaza,

Been wonder if this "Omma" is the word that I know. Omma in Korean Language means
mother, but actually the owner is not Korean. =P

Fresh buns and breads will start display on shelves for selling starting from 10am.

For my breakfast, I had ordered a basic lemonade and also a big breakfast.
